Project consisted of the removal of the old North Hospital in preparation for new parking lot/main entrance located in Harbor City, CA. Work included core sampling slabs for asbestos materials, core sampling walls and slabs for PCB migration, removal of universal wastes, abatement and disposal of materials impacted with asbestos at building interior and exterior and lead abatement; Abatement, demolition and disposal of PCB impacted interior and exterior building walls and slabs as TSCA waste; Demolition of building structures and site clearing; On-site crushing of clean concrete for reuse as based; Demolition and disposal of building slabs as asbestos contaminated waste; Excavation, removal and disposal of sub-grade utilities impacted with asbestos; Soil investigation; Removal and disposal of contaminated soils; Earthwork including cut and fill, compaction, rough and final site grading and excavation and compaction of new bio-swale system.
